What My Clients Say

Where do I begin. My daughter was lucky enough to be Naomi’s first client when she was eleven years old and worked with her sometimes naughty pony, through to her wonderful 16hh eventer. She gave her the skills and confidence to go on and compete in ODEs and hunter trials up to 100cm and managed to deal with her teenage years!
My ‘beginner’ husband has also benefitted from her patience and adaptability when dealing with his aches and pains to give him the foundations to ride confidently ever since.
Until four years ago I had only ever competed twice in my life in two very small hunter trials. I had always been the ‘groom’ not the competitor. Having got back into riding after a very long gap I bought a horse that had a dressage background and thought I would like to give it a try.
I can only say that Naomi has worked her magic and not only do I love dressage but we have gone on to compete successfully, collecting an amazing array of rosettes along the way. When my daughter gave up riding last year I inherited the ride on her horse and thought that I should try jumping and maybe eventing. So again I turned to Naomi to teach me to jump, having never jumped a show jumping course in my life.
I cannot thank or praise Naomi enough for her skills, knowledge and patience that has enabled me to do something I never thought I would have the confidence to do. I have competed in four ODEs this year and although a couple have not gone to plan we have managed a 3rd place.
More important than competing and winning rosettes is the partnership and harmony the Naomi has helped me attain with both my horses, without her I would just be a passenger!

After buying a young pony on a hunch I needed someone I could trust to educate him for my daughter. My daughter has hypermobility so riding is the perfect physio. I needed the pony to be schooled using voice commands as well as legs and hands as Nancy is not very strong.
Naomi did a fantastic job with him and on collection gave Nancy a lesson off the lead rein. If we lived closer we would return every week for a lesson as her teaching skills are excellent. I would highly recommend Naomi and have done as she is kind, knowledgeable and professional. Our pony will be returning next year to continue his education.

I have been having lessons with Naomi over the last 8 years on a regular basis. I am a 63 year old lady who has been riding since the age of 12 with many breaks in between.
I sadly lost my pony 8 years ago who I had for 12 years. I wanted to carry on riding but became a nervous wreck without my lovely mare to look after me. I found the perfect little cob called Rodney, as safe as houses, but I was still very nervous.
Naomi was teaching at our yard at this time so I booked a lesson and have never looked back. Naomi has seen me through a knee replacement and two hip replacements, also keeping Rodney going while I was unable to ride by schooling and hacking him. Naomi has a real talent in her teaching methods giving her pupils time to grow in confidence with her encouragement and never ending patience. She also knows what each client is capable of achieving and without you realising you have moved up another level!
So in summary I have gone from a nervous wreck to a rider who now enters prelim dressage (gaining some red rosettes), enjoys pleasure rides and even pops a small fence.
Naomi I will be eternally thankful.
